Guess Who Wants To Make A Film On Self-Proclaimed Godwoman Radhe Maa?
This actress in a Twitter chat with her fans revealed that she wants to make a film on lipstick-wearing godwoman Radhe Maa...
Self-proclaimed godwoman Radhe Maa is no stranger to
controversy and looks like it is her dramatic life that has lured Huma Qureshi.
In a Twitter chat, the actress expressed the desire to make a film on her.
A video of Radhe Maa trying to talk like a queen went
viral recently and a New York-based user Aseem Chhabra said, "There are
actually people out there who treat this completely ridiculous woman as a
religious guru? How's that even possible?” From nowhere Huma Qureshi jumped in
and commented, "I want to make a film on her. Epic. Some sacrifices will
have to be made. It is the role of a lifetime..." And when a fellow
netizen asked, "How does one write a script for this absurdity?" Huma
quickly responded, "Write an absurd one!" Nice! (sic).”
Huma Qureshi was last seen in Gurinder Chadha’s Partition
1947, which was released earlier this year in August. The film received a
positive response overall but could not garner enough collections at the
box-office. Apart from Huma, the film also starred Hugh Bonneville, Gillian
Anderson, Manish Dayal and Michael Gambon. The music of the film was composed
by AR Rahman. Partition: 1947 was also screened at 67th Berlin International
Film Festival.
Furthermore, the actress will soon start shooting for
Tamil crime-drama Kaala which will be produced by Dhanush and will be directed
by Pa Ranjith. Apart from Huma, the film will also star Rajinikanth, Nana
Patekar, Anjali Patil and Samuthirakani. The shooting for the film has already
begun.
